Camps Bay Villas– what's included
All of the Camps Bay villas and holiday apartments in our portfolio are modern, stylish properties that have been professionally interior designed and furnished. Our clients can expect the levels of comfort, cleanliness and the facilities of a high star-graded Cape Town or Camps Bay hotel.
Our Camps Bay villas are all furnished with:
- Fully equipped, modern kitchens.
- Satellite TV.
- Stereo.
- Telephone (usually with internet access).
- High quality linen, towels, and beach towels.
- Hairdryers.
A cleaning/housekeeping service, pool and garden service are all included in all our villa rentals. Cleaning service varies from twice weekly for apartments and small villas to a daily service on weekdays at our larger luxury villas.
Our villas and holiday apartments are all either walking distance or in some case just a short drive from the many Camps Bay attractions including the beach, restaurants, shops and services that make this such an exciting and convenient place to stay.
Additional Services
We really want your stay in our Camps Bay villa rentals to be as relaxed and enjoyable as possible and we are always pleased to help as best we can with any requests you may have for additional services at our properties. The following additional services are generally available on request (but should be requested as early as possible when you book).
Private Catering/Butler service
We can arrange for a private catering service to be provided at our Camps Bay villa rentals and holiday apartments.
Options include
- A full-time private chef.
- A catered dinner.
- A catered cocktail party.
- A traditional South African braai (barbeque) on your pool-deck for that special occasion.
A butler and/or private chauffeur service can also be arranged at some of our larger luxury villas.
Private catering service costs vary depending on the service required but compare favourably with eating out at top local restaurants. A fully catered service with a private chef preparing three full meals per day at your luxury villa will generally cost less than ZAR1000 per day.
Local Travel/Tour/Chauffeur services
Our clients usually prefer to make their own travel and leisure arrangements during their stay, but we are happy to assist with recommendations and put you in touch with reliable local tour operators we work with who will be pleased to tailor-make private, guided tours for you in Cape Town and beyond. You will be collected from your Camps Bay villa rental in a luxury car or air-conditioned minibus (depending on the size of your party) and escorted by a trained local guide.

- Private chauffeur driven and/or guided tour services
- Full and Half Day guided tours to Cape Point and around the Peninsula
- Full and Half Day guided tours of the winelands
- Cape Town City, Robben Island and Table Mountain tours
- Township and cultural tours
- Helicopter Trips
Nanny/babysitting services
- A reliable local child-minding agency that we have used for years will be pleased to provide either evening or daytime childcare at our Camps Bay villas and apartments.
- A full-time live-in nanny or au-pair can also be arranged at prior notice. Very reasonable rates apply.
- Travel cots and high chairs can also be arranged at our beach houses and holiday villas.
Free local cell phones
- All of our Camps Bay properties have telephones (often with a prepaid voucher system) and many have internet access (not always high-speed). Please ask if this is important, otherwise Camps Bay's shops and services include an internet café for guests' use.
- We offer our clients the use of free local mobile phones during their stay in Camps Bay. Calls are charged to your credit card with an itemised account sent to your home/work address. Our call charges are significantly lower than mobile phones rented at the airport or in Cape Town.
Professional laundry/dry-cleaning service
- Most of our Camps Bay villas and holiday apartments have a washing machine and dryer for guests' use.
- Bed-linen is changed twice weekly at our villas and apartments by our cleaning staff who can assist with reasonable amounts of personal laundry although their main responsibility is to keep the property clean.
- A professional laundry/dry-cleaning service can also collect and deliver from our rental properties.
Additional housekeeping/cleaning services
- Most of our smaller beach houses and holiday apartments are cleaned twice weekly by Cape Portfolios' experienced and reliable cleaning staff.
- Daily service on week-days is standard at our larger, luxury Camps Bay villas.
- Additional service can be provided by prior arrangement for a small daily charge.
Massage treatments in villas
We can also refer you to qualified massage therapists who will be pleased to provide treatments at your beach house in Camps Bay.
Simply indicate whether you are interested in any of the above services when you book one of our Camps Bay villas or holiday apartments and we will provide you with further information and quotations. These services should be requested well in advance of arrival for those guests visiting at our busy times of year as we cannot guarantee availability at short notice.
